I’m gonna say this because it happens way too often…

If you call a professional, let them do their job.

Had a 2007 Chevy Express van recently that wouldn’t start. Customer was convinced it was the ignition. After actually diagnosing the vehicle, the issue pointed to the steering column housing—not the ignition.

I even explained it clearly: if it were the ignition, the key wouldn’t turn the way it was.

Also made a brand new key since the old one was worn out—problem solved on that end.

But at the end of the day, he still insisted he knew better… and didn’t want to pay. So I took the keys I made and left.

Here’s the reality: guessing costs you more money than listening to someone who does this every day. He’s about to replace an ignition and still have the same problem.

I don’t guess. I diagnose.

If you want it fixed right the first time, I got you. If you already know everything… you probably don’t need me.
