This project combines the best of materials with the craftsmanship of Techwood Decks, designed for beauty, performance, and safety.

For this deck, we used aluminum framing, paired with PVC decking boards from the Vintage Collection. Both materials are non-combustible, making them an excellent choice for durability and peace of mind. Aluminum framing is one of the strongest and most advanced options on the market today, and TimberTech backs both the framing and decking with industry-leading warranties.

We also installed aluminum railing with a custom drink rail — and yes, clients can choose any decking color they want for the top rail. To complete the space, we added integrated step lighting, enhancing safety while elevating the overall look of the deck.

Another important detail to mention: located in San Jose, this home truly benefits from cooler decking materials. The Vintage Collection stays cooler underfoot, making it an ideal choice for enjoying outdoor living even on the hottest days.
