Some things are meant to last generations. 🌿

I drove an hour to pick up a Herend tea set from a lovely retired couple looking to downsize. Art collectors who owned a gallery for 40 years — and I have a feeling we’ll be friends.

What I didn’t expect was for her to ask if I’d be interested in seeing a second box!

Handmade in Hungary. Purchased directly from the Herend store in 1980. Never used. Until now.

This is why I’ll always choose old over new.
