We are seeking a Field Supervisor for our North County Branch!
The Field Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring ex*****on of efficient crew production, job quality, exceptional customer service, and employee safety by performing the following duties.

Duties and Responsibilities: (include the following but not limited to)
• Keeps account manager informed about customer issues.
• Listens to customers attentively and satisfies their concerns from their perspective.
• Completes checklist items and identifies potential enhancement work.
• Builds lasting relationships with customers and solves customer problems quickly and effectively with adequate follow-up.
• Communicates daily expectations from the account manager to the crew leaders.
• Helps crew leaders comply with all company procedures, treats others with respect, collaboration, and support in such a way that work relationships are improved and morale is increased.
• Establishes and enforces operating procedures and work standards that will ensure adequate performance and personnel safety.
• Monitors project activities to ensure that instructions are followed, deadlines are met, and schedules are maintained.
• Provides coaching to employees.
• Works with crew leaders to perform all specifications according to contract, quality standards, and budget terms.
• Communicates well with others including supervisors, crew leaders, and customers.
• Manages all enhancement jobs and manages plant materials at the job site including preparation, planting, and cleans-up and ensures all job quality performance expectations are met in accordance with company standards.
• Monitors and programs irrigation controllers.
• Understands proper pest and w**d control methods.
• Oversees an optimal yard departure routine, and ensures all job responsibilities are performed in accordance with company protocol, monitors yard arrival tasks including vehicles parking, unloading debris and storing tools.
• Conducts and/or supervises weekly tailgate meetings with crews, and provides excellent service including accurate, complete, and timely service to clients, work-site partners, and company staff in a courteous and efficient manner.
• Operates and maintains tools and equipment to ensure safety, attends safety meetings, wears proper personal protective equipment, wears seat belt when traveling in a company vehicle, demonstrates proper lifting procedures, performs all safety inspections, and ensures compliance with all safety policies/reporting procedures.
Experience/Skills:
• Two years minimum experience in landscape maintenance.
• Supervises 3-4 crews in their daily activities
• Basic Plant knowledge (common plants used)
• Basic irrigation knowledge (program controllers, identifying issues)
• Basic English level (verbal and written)
• Basic computer/smartphone/tablet skills
Essential Physical Characteristics:
Frequently stand, walk, or crouch on narrow and/or slippery surfaces; stoop, kneel, bend to pick up or move objects; walk for long distances and on sloped ground and uneven surfaces; move, lift, and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds; normal manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination; corrected hearing and vision to normal range.
