The primary purpose of this position is to manage and oversee all day-to day operations of the Lighthouse installation business. A critical component of this position is offering the consumer advisory services to help provide recommendations and solutions to their daylighting and fresh air project.
Primary Functions:
Driver of revenue growth through local marketing efforts as well as utilizing VELUX marketing efforts and support.
Responsible for the financial performance and engagement of the QuickBooks platform including revenue, expenses and profitable margin results.
Maintain direct communication with Lighthouse Admin for the monitoring of accounts payable, inventory, accounts receivable and other financial measurements that effect month end and budget reporting results.
Responsible for local market engagement and identifying the needs for advertising and lead generating opportunities.
Responsibility includes sales management through the CRM HubSpot platform.
Responsible for the management of all incoming leads and follow up for all quotes and proposals.
Responsible for direct management and development of the staff which includes interviewing, placement, onboarding, supervision, performance evaluation, scheduling, creating learning opportunities, as well as creating a healthy and safe work environment for all employees.
Gain a full understanding of the applications for VELUX products and how they are properly installed.
Overseeing procurement of all material orders and the security and management of all material orders and the security and management of that inventory.
Train installers and prepare them with skill sets needed for installation projects.
Oversee and audit installations of installers.
Identify work scope of projects and review installation procedures and safety plans for projects.
Responsible for annual staff performance reviews and incentive goals.
Will produce annual Lighthouse budget.
Provide secure storage for company vehicles, equipment, tools and materials.
Engage with Admin for the scheduling of estimates, installation projects and deliveries.
Be available and maintain skill set for on-site installation assistance for all product applications.
Be available to substitute for any vacate installer position for the installation of Skylight and Sun Tunnel products.
Qualifications:
An Associate’s Degree is required.
A minimum of five years’ experience in the building trade is required.
Must possess experience in business management with financial competencies and a working knowledge of Profit and Loss budgeting and reporting.
Must exhibit excellent people skills and outstanding management behavior.
Must display the ability to learn and demonstrate VELUX product’s features and benefits.
Must possess excellent organizational and communication skills.
Must maintain a positive and professional appearance.
Must possess an overall good work record and desire to work in a team environment.
Must be capable of lifting/reaching/stooping/climbing/maneuvering with weights of 80 lbs.
Ability to perform the essential functions assigned to the position.
