Love at first sight 😍

to see her under the light, swipe ➡️ (the leaves are so sleek they reflect the light)

I LOVE Stromanthe Triostar, but the first one I brought home made a B-line to its ⚰️! The moment my eyes saw this beauty, I just knew she had to come home with me.

Have we had our struggles? Duh! Am I happy she’s part of my collection? Absolutely!

What I’ve noticed with her is that despite me underwatering at times, and having thrips try to make themselves at home, she keeps growing and pushing out new leaves. I think we’ve gotten past the thrips now, and I’m doing better with keeping her soil from drying out!

One of my first Anthurium, that I still haven’t quite got the hang of its care. Just when I thought I did… THRIPS… that’s LIFE!

If you have plants in your care, you will have pests at some point 🤷🏽‍♀️ don’t stress, just quickly act on it!

I’ve been treating this with my Pest Prevention spray every 3-5 days. It grows super slow for me, so this new leaf is a sign that it’s happy. Swipe to see its progress so far!

Philodendron Silver Sword has developed a growth tip instead of growing new leaves from older Petioles. Did you know that’s a sign of maturity? Swipe to see a close up ➡️

The sword shape is also starting to show more as the leaves increase in size!

Felt cute, might delete later…

Both of these were grown from seed. Only one seed of each from the many I sowed actually germinated. The tall one is a Tiger’s Eye Sunflower 🌻 I’m 5’4 for reference.

The vine crawling along the ground is a pumpkin. Swipe to see the potential fruit we have so far.

Did some yard work yesterday and didn’t quite finish cleaning up so doing that today before I relax and maybe do some reading 🥰 hope you have an amazing Sunday plant lover!

“Beef is when I see you!” 🤣🤣🤣

My Florida ghost and I stay beefin’! I try to give it the best light but I just don’t think he likes what I can offer 🤷🏽‍♀️ so he stays giving me plain green leaves.

Will this new leaf finally give me some ghostly vibes?

P.S. - he is currently living in time out on the floor after he decided to make a b-line to the floor from the top shelf and take everyone in his path 😤

Not sure what I’m gunna do with him after. Any ideas?

PS- our beef isn’t as serious as the song, I just like a little drama sometimes 😜

Begonia Rose Gold is outgrowing the mini greenhouse! Not super fast, but I should start acclimating her to slightly less humidity.

Growing in a 3” clear pot, added some coco coir to my chunky soil mix to make it more moisture retentive. The seller was growing these in terrarium conditions so I tried my best to mimic that. Now that it’s grown several new leaves for me, I’d like to start acclimating her to living in the jungle room!

This is the first Maharani leaf from the corms I harvested and placed in Fluval Stratum on 7/7/24!

The smallest corm that I accidentally knocked off during the repot sadly rotted, but if you swipe you can see the others are progressing 🥰

Albo Monsteras are both pushing out new leaves on this !!

This plant mama couldn’t be happier! The first photo was taken last night after watching the Gypsy Kings put on an amazing show. Side note: my fiancé and I got to watch them play this song at the front of the stage and my heart is so full!

The rest of the photos were taken this morning, when the baby Albo surprised me with its first new leaf since giving it a moss pole ✨
