Some projects are professional milestones. Others are deeply personal.

For more than two decades, we’ve had the privilege of helping shape the ongoing modernization of San Diego High School, one of the city’s most historic campuses.

What began as a campus-wide master plan has evolved into a transformative effort to reconnect nearly 150 years of history through revitalized gathering spaces, upgraded athletic facilities, and a cohesive vision for the future.

We’re honored to help preserve the legacy of this landmark campus while creating spaces that will serve generations of students to come.

Progress updates from The Casitas! We’re excited to take you along through the process as this new collection of private residences at the historic begins to come to life. 🌿
 
Associate Project Manager, Adam Crowell and Junior Associate, Olivia Wax recently visited the site to see construction progress and the first plantings going. Inspired by the natural beauty and character of Rancho Santa Fe, the project is designed to balance private retreat with connection and community.

As landscape designers, protecting the earth isn’t just an April 22nd thing, it’s literally our job. And today we celebrated by doing what we love most: getting outside and soaking it all in. 🌎

Fun fact: Earth Day started on April 22, 1970, inspired by public outrage over the 1969 Santa Barbara oil spill. Over 50 years later, we’re still showing up for the planet!

Big win for a project we’re incredibly proud of 🎉

Topaz Mixed-Use Student Housing has been awarded “Best Implementation of Mixed-Use” at the Student Housing Business Awards in Austin, TX.

What was once an old drive-thru and strip center is now a vibrant space designed for student living, connection, and convenience—bringing housing and everyday essentials together in a way that truly serves students.

Grateful to be part of a team that continues to reimagine what these spaces can be. Huge congratulations to our partners at and the entire project team!
