A couple weeks ago we found two plump monarch caterpillars on our milkweed plants. This was very random given the monarch season had ended . We put them in a protective habitat anyways and thought, well, if they make it it’s a miracle! Then look who hatched today- on Inauguration Day!!! One for Joe and one for Kamala! What better symbol of new beginnings than a new butterfly!
