IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM WAR RHINO INC.!!!!!
Hello All!
Weird times, tough times...
Last week was a devastating time for our business.
The stock market had it's toughest week in memory. On Thursday evening Gov. Gavin Newsom announced measures directing all Californians to stay home amid the coronavirus outbreak.
Shortly thereafter The Associated General Contractors of California received an update from the Governor’s Office listing construction, including housing construction, as an essential function to continue during this crisis.
During these tough times, a dose of normalcy can be a unique blessing. We, at War Rhino, Inc. are here to help you with that. Deemed by the state of California as an essential business, construction work is moving forward. So anything you need, War Rhino has your back!
While we've taken a hit, as have all of us, please be assured that War Rhino, Inc. is open and operations are full speed ahead. If you have construction needs, please let us know, normal or emergency services, we're here to help!
As we are all aware, the Covid-19 situation is evolving daily and we are monitoring the changes closely to ensure the safety and well-being of our employees, vendors and clients.
I wish they had coined the term “physical distancing” instead of ”social distancing” because I think now is the time we all need to work well together and support each other as much as possible.
Because we are all in this together while standing 4’ - 6' apart, my team and I promise to do everything we can if you need our help with a “home” emergency, now or otherwise.
To our current project customers: Unless you request otherwise, our field team members will continue coming to your homes or place of business to complete your remodels and construction projects while practicing safe physical distancing.
We have had communication with all jurisdictions regarding applying for and the issuing of permits, as well as inspections for ongoing projects. While some of the details are still being perfected, we are pleased to announce that the various jurisdictions are gearing to support out efforts. We even have inspections scheduled for this upcoming week.
As I write this we are starting a new remodeling project this week, but we have made important changes in all of our procedures.
For Everyone’s Safety:
We will continue forward with our “design” clients sharing proposals, concepts and details using email, phone calls, video conferencing, etc. as much as possible.
Everyone on our team will respect your individual perspective on how much “distance” is appropriate and communicate with you using the method that you find most comfortable.
Our team members are required to stay home from work if they or anyone in their home is experiencing any symptoms. Our entire team is now primarily working from home or on the job site, at all times cognizant of reducing exposure to others.
On the very first day at each new remodeling project we always set up our own plastic barrier walls that keep our dust (and us) separated from our customers as much as possible and it remains in place for the duration of the project.
We schedule our craftsmen and tradesmen on each project so they do not need to be in close contact with each other, even inside of our barriers.
As things change we will continue to adapt and update our operations and procedures as much and as often as necessary.
We will use care and situational awareness as we move forward with our all of our design & and permitting processes so that when our customers decide it’s time to start remodeling their homes or place of business War Rhino, Inc. will be ready.
It’s a little counterintuitive but we have learned from our years of experience in the high quality remodeling industry that when major world events make general or world travel undesirable and the stock market reacts accordingly (after the shock wears off) that people tend to make investments in their homes instead of the volatile markets or on world travels.
It’s times like these that remind people that the most beautiful and enjoyable place on earth can truly be at home with their family, loved ones, and friends.
To all, on behalf of Shane, Reena, Rob, Greg, Raymond, Candle, Manuel, Robert, and all of our supporting cast, I/we thank you for your understanding, and please know we support you as you decide for yourselves what works for you and your family and the people who count on you.
We will get through this together. Be safe out there.
