The 2024 San Diego Festival of Science & Engineering will take place on March 2, 2024, from 11:00 AM until 5:00 PM at Snapdragon Stadium.

SDSU Art Pavilion: Located in the San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance Club on the west side of the concourse, this new space features STEM-related art from the community.

Assistant professor Yin Yu and students from her World Design Capital class will showcase their soft robotics pieces that combine mechanical and electrical components with fluid, soft forms.

SoRoART, a group exhibition of soft robotics in art and design, is presented by multidisciplinary students from SDSU.

The SoRoART exhibition is supported by SDSU Division of Research and Innovation.

This event is free and open to the public.

SDSU studio classes visited Daffodil, a mixed use low income ZERO PARKING project in Logan. The heard from Chris Padilla, master printer (and shoe maker) with the Athenaeum; Jerry Guzmán, Spacial Designer with Casa 129; and Ben Longwell, developer with The Society Of Master Craftsman. Amazing tour with these professionals.

Welcome prospective students!!!

This year, Open Studios will align with Explore SDSU, where admitted students will engage with the larger SDSU community and visit the campus with their families. This event is a great way to become acquainted or reacquainted with the School of Art and Design and all the exciting things we create! Classrooms, labs, studios, and galleries will be filled with art and open for viewing. Students and faculty will be on hand to show their work, demonstrate art processes, answer questions, and provide tours.
