One of our favorite ways to bring warmth into a space is through art. For this project, we wanted something that could soften the sharp cacti and the staircase. So what better than to look for something organic, woven, and soft. We knew we had found the right piece when we came across the amazing Caralarga Mexico.


Their work is rooted in traditional handweaving techniques, and as they put it, their designs “aim to convey the value of our hands and emphasize the natural beauty of each material”. We loved working with them to customize the piece for the space. It feels intentional. Their team cares deeply about their craft, and that’s exactly what we were looking for.

Earlier last year we got a call from saying they wanted to film our Hartwood project for their new season of America: By Design

It was an incredibly exciting opportunity, and we are so happy with the result. Our first official international TV feature, showcasing one of our favorite projects to date. A dream come true!

Hartwood is officially live and we are so thankful that we get to share it with the world!
