Education: Graduated from UC Berkeley with a Bachelors in Fine Art. Go Bears!⁠

First Gig: Painting curbs red for "No Parking". Couldn't drive yet, so I'd bike to the sites. ⁠

Favorite Food: The hub's the catch of the day - especially blue fin tuna. The best sushi is made by him! ⁠

My Superpower: My imagination. Which allows me to envision my goals and where I want to be in the next 5-10 years. It can be my weakness, as I will drift and get lost daydreaming.⁠

My Kryptonite: Remembering that everything takes time. It's a journey and a process. When I start something, I want immediate results and success. I need to remind myself that expertise comes with practice and hard work; it's not something you're born with.⁠

In 2020 we all faced different lock-down rules.

As we couldn’t bring in our reusable bags, my stack of paper grocery bags got bigger and bigger. Rather than letting them go to waste, I started a series using recycled materials: grocery bags, Amazon cardboard boxes and parts of old paintings. I have always had a love of the twisting trunks and branches of oak trees - it felt natural to make that my subject matter on recycled paper good.
