Halloween did not disappoint this year in San Francisco.
and hosted their annual, themed féte. “Nightmare at the Museum.” I was a Starry Starry Night-Mare and Ascended with Mary to a party at the Phoenix Hotel, before joining Pope Leo and Mummy Dearest & the Dioramas in some disco dancing

Today was one of those magic CA days. Hanging with one of my besties & feeding newborn beasties. We helped bottle feed baby goats that were 1-3 days old. Trying to train them was some messy, adorable fun. A perfect Super Bowl alternative sweetened further with wine tasting and coastal driving.

Andy & Soo’s annual Halloween party was hilarious as always. This year’s theme: Food Court.
Justice of the Peas presiding (and may it peas the court) my food court jesters and Bayleaf kept the house in good order, while presiding over many culinary cases, involving Pastatutes, Renegade raisins rapeseed oils and Pitaphiles. It was a court for the pages.

A Delta detour after a Foothill weekend of tomfoolery, landed us at an o***m den from 1870, which is now a fine beer hall. What a lovely stop and chat with the friendly folks of Isleton.

We are a craft-focused, architectural design firm based in San Francisco, specializing in custom homes, with experience in all manner of climates and styles.  It is the attention to detail, material and collaboration that unifies our work.
We also take on institutional, agricultural and hospitality projects, often as design lead with a handpicked team of collaborators.

Feeling very fortunate to be invited to a friend’s birthday party in Tahoe. What a magical setting they created among the trees and in the skies above. I’ve missed the mountains

Nothing like springtime in the Midwest, especially during the emergence of TWO cicada broods (13yr and 17yr) the sound is amazing. One has a brighter sound that can get as loud as a neighbor’s weed-wacker! The others have a mid-tone rounder sound. Both choruses alternate in waves from tree to tree. And the little, dumb, red-eyed buggars are everywhere!
