BOJAGI in London
Gathering around a table with loved ones is where the magic happens. It’s where we slow down, share stories, and truly connect. 🤍

Our time in London came to a close with an intimate dinner full of warmth and laughter. To show my deepest gratitude and appreciation for these beautiful souls, I shared the gift of bojagi—each knot a physical reminder of our bond and the memories we’ve woven together.

We laughed, we reminisced about our fun times and new connections made, and we held onto the sweetness of the moment.

Until next time, London. You’ve been unforgettable. ✨ Enfolding all this gratitude and carrying it home.

✨ From SF to London!
On June 5th, we hosted an intimate gathering of London locals to experience Korean craft reimagined for a modern, mindful world. It was a true delight to meet new friends who appreciate heritage, culture, and slow craft.

Here is a glimpse into our special evening:

Exploring the deep roots of Korean heritage, one pour at a time. 🍶

I’ve recently been captivated by Chungju, a clear, refined rice wine with origins dating back centuries. Once considered a drink for the royalty.

Historically prized for its elegant clarity, it represents the more sophisticated side of traditional Korean *sool*.
In Korean culture, a premium bottle is rarely seen without its counterpart: Bojagi wrappings. This ancient art of fabric wrapping is about more than just aesthetics—the intricate folds and knots symbolize the “wrapping of good fortune” and a deep respect for the recipient.

If you’re curious to explore these traditions, visit Ina at , she is a true expert in the category and has curated a stunning collection for you to taste with Korean food.

Sun’s out, picnic baskets are out! 🧺✨ There is nothing quite like a Northern California summer afternoon spent grazing through a spread of local treasures.

Our favorite way to spend the day? Gathering a curated selection of gourmet provisions from our favorite makers:

Add your local seasonal fruits and baked goods to complete this feast!

Heading to wine country in Sonoma!
We’ve tucked it all into a culinary basket, bundled up beautifully in a reusable **Bojagi linen wrap**—the most sustainable (and chic) way to carry your feast.

All we’re missing is the perfect bottle! We’d love to hear your favorites—what West Coast wine would you pair with this spread? 🍷👇

Sun-drenched afternoons and the best kind of slow weekend energy. ☀️🍃

There’s something so grounding about a park picnic, especially when the menu includes homemade **Kimbap**. To make it feel a little more special, I’ve wrapped everything up in a **Bojagi**. Not only is it a beautiful nod to heritage, but it’s also completely **zero waste**—it transforms into a personal napkin for the day.

Just a quick shake, fold it back up, and it’s ready for the next adventure. Simple food, bright sunshine, and a lighter footprint. 🧺✨

The Art of the Meaningful Gift 📖✨
There is something deeply personal about gifting a book. It’s more than just paper and ink; it’s a shared sentiment, a quiet conversation, and a wish for the recipient to find something beautiful within its pages.

To match that energy, I’m wrapping this special edition in a Flower-Shaped Bojagi. 🌸

In korean heritage wrapping traditions, the act of folding and tying fabric symbolizes “wrapping a blessing” for the person receiving it. By choosing a reusable textile over disposable paper, the gift remains sustainable and the wrapping itself becomes a keepsake they can use again and again.

Transform your gifting from ordinary to praise-worthy in seconds:
1. Center your book diagonally on a square of sheer or silk fabric.
2. Fold and tuck with intention—no tape or scissors required.
3. The “Bloom”: Watch how easily these corners transform into a delicate flower petal design.
It’s simple, sophisticated, and shows that you care about the details. 🌿

Ready to try it? Watch the reel to see how this easy flower fold comes to life.

Celebrating AAPI Heritage Month is about more than just looking back—it’s about how we carry our stories forward. 🌸✨

I’ve been reflecting on my journey as an emigrant. For a long time, I lived under the quiet assumption that to be “American” meant letting go of my Korean heritage. I thought I had to trade one identity for another to find success.

But the world has changed. Today, we see Asian representation and Korean culture celebrated on a global stage. We are finally in a place where we don’t have to choose between where we came from and where we are going.

My personal mission is to take that celebration deeper through Bojagi (보자기).

Bojagi is the traditional Korean art of wrapping and decorating. To me, it is a mindful practice of gifting—a way to package our intentions and respect with fabric. By sharing this art with a new generation, I’m not just teaching a technique; I’m offering a way to reimagine tradition for a modern world.

We don’t need to let go of our roots to live a successful life. In fact, those roots are exactly what make our future so vibrant. I am deeply honored and grateful for the privilege to share my story and pass on this heritage to you all.

Let’s continue, let’s reimagine, and let’s wrap our future in the beauty of our past. 🇰🇷✨

✨ A gift as intentional as her love. ✨
This Mother’s Day, we’re bringing together the warmth of heritage and the serenity of nature. We’ve partnered with Bay Area woman asian owned brand Kumalima
to bring you a limited edition gift box featuring a hand-poured soy wax candle that captures the calming, grounding scent of the woods.

Every candle is a labor of love by maker and owner Jaimie, who pours her passion for her roots and love for nature in every batch.

The Art of Giving: The Flower Bojagi 🌸
In true BOJAGI style, we believe the presentation should be just as meaningful as the gift itself. Each candle comes beautifully cocooned in our signature Flower Bojagi wrap design:

Color: A stunning Cerulean blue.
Detail: Delicate contrast blue embroidery that adds a touch of timeless elegance.

A Double Gift to Cherish ♻️
The beauty doesn’t end when the candle flickers out. The Bojagi is designed to be kept and reused—transforming into a personal handkerchief, a keepsake, or a beautiful wrap to pass on to another loved one. It’s a gift that keeps on giving, long after the scent of the woods has filled her home.

Give Mom something as beautiful and intentional as she is.
