Crossing the space/time barrier

This is a really interesting project idea-- use VR to give people who are stuck in a hospital or a nursing home an experience that will uplift them.

"With technology like the Oculus Rift DK2 VR goggles, we are able to bring the outside world in. We have gathered videos and images using HD cameras on 3D gyroscope gimbals to make the steadiest shots possible. Then from there we go up, literally. With the use of Quad/Hex/Octo-copters we’re able to make million dollar hollywood produced shots for tenths of a cent on the dollar compared to a hollywood production.
.. we are able help individuals feel like they’re flying or moving without actually having to be to physically able stand or walk.

we want to help the children and adults who never have had that opportunity or may not be physically able to experience new adventures or visit old familiar places.

we’re able to bring the outside world inside to the individuals that can not leave their homes, hospitals or even their beds.

we’ll be able to compress years of priceless memories, experiences and adventures into hours , minutes or even seconds.

While letting them forget they're not in the hospital anymore, they're actually out exploring the world they may not otherwise be able to explore."
