Not everything needs to be ripped out of your life in one dramatic purge.

Sometimes the right way to let something go…

is to use it one more time.

Wear the hat.
Flip through the magazine.
Read a chapter of the book.
Play the record.

See how it feels now.

Not how it felt five years ago.

Not who you were when you bought it.

But today.

Because often, the hesitation isn’t about the item.

It’s about closure.

Using it one more time lets you decide from clarity... not guilt, not nostalgia, not pressure.

And when you’re truly ready?

Letting go feels calm. Not forced.

Need boundaries? ⏬

Decluttering doesn’t mean you have to live in a museum.

You can absolutely keep collections!

Mugs. Books. Vintage Pyrex. Seasonal decor. Baseball caps.

Whatever it is.

The difference between a collection and clutter?

Boundaries.

A collection has:
✅ A defined space
✅ A size limit
✅ Intention behind it
✅ Maintenance

Clutter has:
🚫 No container
🚫 No cap
🚫 No visibility
🚫 No direction

If your collection fits comfortably in its designated space and you genuinely enjoy it, keep it.

If it’s spilling into other areas, causing stress, or quietly multiplying... it’s time to edit.

Decluttering isn’t about owning less for the sake of less.

It’s about owning what you choose... on purpose.

If you’re struggling to set boundaries around what to keep and what to release, that’s exactly what I help women work through in my 1:1 sessions.

Comment me “READY” and I’ll send you the details.

Why this works ⏬

Overthinking is the fastest way to stay stuck.

So instead of “declutter the house,”
you picked one path.

Kitchen.
Bedroom.
Entryway.
Paper.

One tiny task.

Three minutes.

Done.

That’s how real progress happens.

Not in marathon weekends.

Not in bursts of motivation.

In small, repeatable action.

This is what we do every single day inside the Text Club.

If you’re ready to stop restarting and start stacking wins, comment CLUB and I’ll send you the details.

Save this post for the next time you don’t know where to start. 💜

Here’s how to win ⬇️

You’re thinking too big.

Your brain hears
“Declutter the closet”and immediately goes:

✨ absolutely not ✨

Big task = big resistance.
Big resistance = procrastination.
Procrastination = guilt.
Guilt = avoidance.

So let’s outsmart it.

Try this 👇

Not the whole room. Not the whole closet. Not even the whole shelf.

One tiny section. One small pile (papers, bags, jackets). One drawer corner. One type of item (socks, hand towels, t-shirts, mugs).

Your brain can handle:
• The 9 lonely socks• The paper pile that’s been staring at you since Tuesday• The jackets on the back of the door• The 14 travel mugs you somehow own

It cannot handle “fix everything.”

Shrink the target.
Set a 3-minute timer.
Stop when it goes off.

Finishing builds momentum.
Momentum builds consistency.
Consistency changes everything.

The goal isn’t to conquer your house in a weekend.

It’s to quietly outsmart overwhelm… every day.

Save this for the next time you start thinking too big.

And if you want one tiny, doable action texted to you each day, comment CLUB.

Messy house ≠ lazy. ⬇️
Most people aren’t unmotivated.They’re overwhelmed.
When the task feels like “fix everything,” your brain shuts down. When the task is “clear one shelf,” your brain engages.
Small action reduces resistance. And resistance is what’s actually keeping you stuck.
If you need one small, doable action each day, comment CLUB and I’ll send you the details.

Here’s how ⬇️

This system is a game changer and I have been teaching people how to do this for 2 years.

After you get your first bin done, the rest of your bins are so easy. In this reel you can see it took me less than 3 min 3 seconds to fully inventory, upload the inventory and label the bin. ⚡️

Comment BIN for the FREE guide and video showing you step by step how you can set this up for yourself!

Let’s stop looking for things and instead find what we need in seconds! 🚀

It’s cute.

It’s symmetrical.

It’s completely impractical.

If your organizing system requires:
• careful hands
• precise stacking
• and zero chaos

…it’s not built for real life.

Organizing should make things easier to use, not harder to touch.

Function > aesthetic.

Every time.

If you want help building systems that actually work for your home (not just the gram), join the Clutter Crushers Text Club.

We move through the entire house together over a year…. one simple, doable step at a time.

Every single time I declutter cords, there’s that one wire I hold up like it might power a spaceship.

“But what if it’s important?”

It’s not.

It’s from a flip phone.

From 2007.

That phone is gone.

The cord is not.

If you don’t know what it belongs to… it probably doesn’t belong in your house.

Let it go! You’ve got this 🤗
