Thoughtful transitions can shape the feeling of a home just as much as the rooms themselves.

Framed through custom oak doors and layered architectural detailing, this space was designed to feel like a quiet moment tucked within the home… warm wood tones, soft stone and tailored finishes creating continuity from one room to the next.

A reminder that sometimes it’s the spaces in between that make the strongest impact.

Natural materials have a way of adding depth that only improves with time.

The warmth of oak, the movement in marble, the subtle variation of handcrafted tile, and the patina of brass each bring their own character to the space.

Together, they create a palette that feels layered, timeless and inviting.

We designed the exterior of the Robin Project as another living space, not an afterthought.

Recently featured in California Homes Magazine, the covered patio anchors the backyard. A stone fireplace sits at its center, flanked by a mounted television and soft curtain panels that soften the architecture and control light through the day. The seating is deep and slipcovered in a light linen, built for long evenings outside. A wood console and woven poufs bring in warmth and texture against the stone.

Just steps away, the outdoor kitchen continues the material story. Durable counters, stainless appliances, and limestone cladding tie it back to the main house.

Down the path, the pool and spa complete the sequence. A raised stone-clad spa spills gently into the pool below, framed by a wall and layered greenery for privacy. Every surface, from the pavers to the tile, was chosen to feel like an extension of the home’s quiet, considered palette.

Outdoor living, done right, is never separate from the architecture. It’s a continuation of it.

Designed to feel open, connected and intentional.

The addition of the dining room wet bar was a continuation of the kitchen’s material palette, carrying the same marble countertops and backsplash into the adjoining space to create continuity throughout the home.

While the living, dining and kitchen areas flow together effortlessly, each space was carefully designed to maintain its own sense of purpose and definition… creating openness without losing the feeling of distinct, grounded rooms.
