Sharing is caring. Butch grabbed the last chorizo and egg burrito from the taco truck, he gave me half of it after I cried the unfairness. What a sweet little Terrier, from Boston.

Quality matters! 🛠️
Skip'n the nitrogen purge causes carbon buildup that contanimates and blocks components within the refrigerant circuit.

How important are your air filters? Most homeowners don't realize that a $20 filter is the only thing standing between them and a $6,000 repair bill. (And if you hear that snoring, that is just my partner Butch, he is not as worried about this static pressure as I am.)

We got called out for a dead blower motor, but the neglect went way deeper. Because this system was gasping for air for so long, the ECM blower motor module finally fried. It was fighting a 'winter coat' of debris on this evaporator coil so thick that airflow had virtually stopped.

This wasn't a 'patch and dash' job. To do this right, we performed a full-system pump-down and pulled the entire evaporator coil to restore the heat transfer surfaces.

But the real work happens during Commissioning. We use BluVac technology to pull a surgical, moisture-free vacuum before we ever think about recharging. Then, we lean on MeasureQuick to prove the system is running to manufacturer specs.

We don't guess; we measure:

Electrical: We verified total system wattage and Power Factor to ensure that the new ECM motor is protected.

Airflow: We got the Total External Static Pressure back under the 0.5" w.c. threshold so this unit can actually breathe again.

Psychrometrics: We pulled real-time Wet Bulb and Dry Bulb temps for the Return and Supply air to verify the exact enthalpy and total capacity.

It is hard to find quality technicians today, but at Silicon Valley Comfort, we do our part to show you the right way to do things. Don't let your system work itself to death. We don't just fix it; we commission it to last. 🛠️❄️"

Shoutouts:
Huge thanks to the teams at measureQuick and AccuTools for providing the tools that allow us to provide this level of data to our San Jose customers. 🛠️📊

Getting ready for a new Bryant furnace, with crossover heat pump installation! This hybrid heating and cooling system will be installed right this time around! Time to ditch this old, moldy platform and reposition the furnace for easier service access. So the blower motor can actually be removed without a return air duct blocking the furnace access panel!

This video documents an ongoing fake review extortion attack targeting my legitimate small business through Google Business Profile.

My company has been subjected to repeated waves of coordinated one-star reviews posted by accounts with no customer relationship, no service history, and no legitimate connection to my business. Following the first wave of fake reviews, I received extortion messages offering to remove the reviews in exchange for payment. Since then, my Google listing has been algorithmically suppressed, resulting in a near total loss of inbound calls for over seven months.

This video, created by Kay Dean of Fake Review Watch, explains the pattern of review bombing, how these attacks operate, and the devastating impact they have on small businesses that rely on Google for visibility and customer contact.

Despite reporting the reviews and providing documentation, the issue has not been resolved, and new fake reviews continue to appear in coordinated bursts. This is not a customer service dispute. It is organized review manipulation and extortion.

This video is being posted for transparency, documentation, and public awareness.

Topics Covered
• Fake Google reviews and review bombing
• Review extortion targeting small businesses
• Google Business Profile abuse
• SEO and reputation manipulation
• Economic harm caused by fraudulent reviews
• Ongoing lack of effective resolution

About Fake Review Watch
Kay Dean investigates and documents fake review networks, extortion schemes, and reputation abuse affecting businesses worldwide.

Don't replace the control board, without OHMing out the blower motors windings! I knew better, and decided to be lazy anvways.
