Worked independently as a contractor, became licensed in 2008, doing high-end residential services, including building, restoring, and replacing extensive decking and staircases on multi-million-dollar homes; refinishing high-end kitchen cabinets; plumbing; insulation; some electrical work; bathroom remodeling and tile-work. Provided professional advice and consultation, dealt with city building inspectors; negotiated the bidding process with clients, including, creating and managing realistic budgets.
