Part II of the recent install - we used the existing trellis and planters but added fishing line wrapped around the wood to add smaller support areas for the clematis to climb up! Can’t wait to see this wall come alive.

The taller planter also has a new hydrangea variety - the fairytrail white cascade hydrangea which I am DYING to add to everyone’s home as it’s truly beautiful. Instead of growing upright and branching like a traditional bush - this has softer, arching branches that will cascade and flow down large containers like this one and it will be 🥵🌺🔥😍 did I mention they are also perennials for our zone 7b (best in containers!)

Why go custom when the big box stores have pre-made planters? Because with you can get a complete design formulated for your space needs and style!

All plants were selected based on these butterfly pillows that have so many awesome colors to choose from - I had a blast picking bright and bold blooms for this project 🦋

Sharing this client’s success story because I think it will help inspire some of you that are hesitant to start gardening. I’m here to help 🧡

I planted these large porch planters in mid-March when the weather was still frigid at night but we were starting to get some sunnier days. This porch is also covered, so the planters receive afternoon sun and not much more.

Does that mean we can’t plant blooming flowers and interesting foliage? Heck no! The most important part of my job is making sure I am doing the research, planning and design to make sure your planters are 100% match to your style, sun and shade requirements and your budget. I am here to take out the stress of gardening and leave you with the fun!

So take a look at these planters - even when planted in the coldest spring, when given some minimal watering and attention once or twice a week, you can have a thriving living arrangement! I am so happy that these hydrangeas are still blooming and showing more buds and the ranunculus and pansies are still active despite us entering Summer. We likely won’t replant for summer - which is such a good feeling to know that I’ve given my client something that carries its value for more than one season (yay!)

Interrupting your weekend social scroll to remind you that summer color happens when you book your garden installations TODAY! 🗓️✍️

May is the best month to plant for the season as it gives the new plants time to settle, establish roots, and acclimate to their new home before getting pelted by our incoming summer heat 🔥🥵😅 I also strongly encourage planting larger perennials around this time as you can get the longest growing time for them in their first year - you never know what our fall temps will look like!

If you don’t have me booked for your home or business yet send me a message and let’s get it started 🎉📝🪏

This is a ‘Mr.Mustard’ Ural False Spirea (sorbaria sorbifolia) by and that coloring is all new growth! Such a cool specimen that has green - yellow - red - orange - pink all shown in its leaf foliage! It truly is an amazing, pollinator friendly, perennial bush to have in your home.

it’s always tough to say goodbye to spring blooms like ranunculus! Always wish we had more time with them. What is harder to spot in this spring container is a sleeper plant - the newest hydrangea variety that is a CASCADING HYDRANGEA! I can’t wait to see this thing in bloom soon 🤍

these stunning blue planters are so striking, it's tough to overshadow them. Paired them this spring with white gardenia topiaries, ruffled ranunculus, bright tulips, and some variegated ivy - it’s like cottage core and grandmilennial had a baby 🌸💕🤍💙✨
