Another project completed this week! Check out the before and afters of this white oak floor. We started with a heavily cupped floor that in was desperate need of a good refinish. Our clients decided to go with a low sheen and custom sandy brown stain color that compliments the house very well! If you’re tired of the hard to clean prefinished flooring with micro bevels and wore out finishes then a refinish may be right for you! When we refinish wood floors that have these bevels they are fully sanded out and with good reason. There’s nothing worse than having your floor refinished only to have the new finish delaminate between all of the bevels causing you to need another refinish far sooner. Not only is the floor better looking without the bevel but it’s also easier to maintain!

We forgot to take before photos of this recent refinish but for our high gloss lovers this one is for you! This floor was sanded and stained coffee brown then finished with a super durable high gloss water base finish!
Water base floor finish provides excellent durability and low voc so you can enjoy your new floor without the awful smell and down time from traditional floor finishes

This project came a long ways from what it used to be! We added hardwood to the kitchen, laundry room, sun room and of course the herringbone in the foyer. After the installation we refinished the entire floor and finished with a high quality water base to keep this floor looking it’s best for years to come!

Talk about a transformation 😅 this home had old 3/8 solid red oak that had been damaged to the point it couldn’t be saved. We replaced the floor with a red oak #1 for character and finished with a super durable waterbased finish. We also refinished the existing pine floor upstairs with a nice modern color to coordinate with the new floor down stairs
