Plant layout is when everyone starts to see what we have seen all along and it’s so rewarding!

Framed by the history of Hyannis Port and the beauty of Nantucket Sound, this landscape was designed with family at its heart.

Behind every magazine-ready shot is a mountain of invisible work. It’s the result of technical grading, drainage, engineering, and hand-selecting the perfect specimens long before the first photo is snapped.
We obsess over the “bones” of a site—the structure and the ecology—so that when the final plant is installed, it feels effortless and timeless.

The Magic of Spotted Bee Balm
Spotted Bee Balm (Monarda punctata) is a true standout for anyone looking to support local pollinators with style. For those seeking quick results, the timing is simple:
• Plant deep plugs in May. (Our are from Izel Native Plants) * Enjoy beautiful, tiered blooms by July. Walah! These deep-rooted starts establish fast, offering nearly instant texture and habitat in the same season.

Behind every “Pinterest-perfect” garden is a mountain of paperwork, dozens of phone calls, and a very dirty pair of boots.
Today is all about the logistics—the invisible backbone of Landscape Architecture. While everyone loves the sketches and the final “big reveal,” the magic actually happens in the grind.
Being a Landscape Architect means wearing about ten different hats before lunch:
• The Diplomat: Balancing client visions with reality.
• The Auditor: Navigating the labyrinth of permitting and change order reviews.
• The Air Traffic Controller: Managing endless contractor coordination (and then coordinating some more).
• The Detective: Catching the tiny details in redlines and drawing reviews.
• The Problem Solver: Making those crucial “on-the-fly” field adjustments when the site throws a curveball.
It’s about schedules, office equipment, and ensuring every stone is literally and figuratively in the right place.
The Secret Weapon
When the redlines get messy and the schedules get tight, we rely on our most important team member: The Office Dog. Whether it’s a morale-boosting tail wag or a mandatory petting break, our four-legged “Consultant” is the only reason we make it through the logistics hurdle.
Design is the dream, but logistics is the delivery.
