We up potted again our Acer palmatum ‘Snow Kitten’. Costco is selling these plastic pots and we got afew extra and gray ones for afew cultivars of Sequoiadendron.

Kaia is still hanging in there, but has some health issues. Will know more this or next week.

Kaia was of help today in moving deer away! They love any maples and chamaecyparis . Just happened to see them earlier and she at least ran after them.

Sequoia sempervirens ‘Illa Martin’. These are more from cuttings Paulie did and we rooted up in band pots before potting up into 1 gallon size now to let grow. This is one of our favorite Sequoia sempervirens!

Sequoia sempervirens ‘Steel Blue’. It put on a lot of growth last year and you can view the terminal shoots on this cultivar. It has done well in our area and seems cold hardy. Some available but small sizes yet.

Sequoiadendron giganteum ‘Hazel Smith’. A beautiful cold hardy redwood with blueish color. This was found as a seedling which did great in a colder climate. Taller tree is planted on our property.

Went to ProGro in Wilsonville as in past. Got loaded again a yard and ahalf of some nice potting soil. It was a #9 and this is the mix. 50% Bark / 30% Peat Moss / 20% Pumice. They have always been very kind and many different mixes.

Great news!! We are now able to resume shipping pines to California, Montana and Hawaii!!
