Love chore-robe weather over coverall weather ☀️
Chores were struggle to get through when the cuddle puddle in the sun looks so inviting!

Baby season is SO close!
First batch of quail chicks are due to hatch in 3 days.
1 goat is due at the beginning of next month, this is her second kidding and she is over it!
1 rabbit is due any day, she’s a first time momma but she’s been doing an amazing job pulling fur and making her nest.

The sap season has been weird for everyone, but we’ve been busy boiling and bottling.

Happy spring ya’ll 🌱🌷🌿🌼

The stand may be put away for the winter but we are still “open” to sell products, all you have to do is send us a message!
New items are in the works, some will be posted as inventory allows, others will be brought straight to the stand when we open for the season.
We are starting to plan our garden for the season! What fresh, local produce do you most look foward to? Personally, I’m hoping the third time is the charm for my loofas 😉🙃

What we currently have available:

-Chicken & quail eggs (winter lists are still running so wait time is based off those)
- Goat milk soap
- Regular soap
- Sourdough bread (made to order)
- Homemade coaster sets (we do take custom orders for pattern, colors, and images)

Coming soon:
- Maple syrup
- Fresh & frozen goat milk
- Quail chicks
- Baby rabbits
- Baby goats (dependent on total born this season)
- Rabbit meat (we are not a usda certified processing facility, so sold for “animal consumption”)

Us:
Looks like lots of snow and cold weather. Batten down the hatches in the barn, extra straw & hay for everyone, the tractor and 4 wheeler with plow are filled up.

Life:
Tractor- Radiator decides 20 years was long enough, time to go. But not somewhere it can be repaired.
4 wheeler winch- Going back and forth at 3am is boring, breaking apart into pieces in the snow adds some pizazz.
Animals- Fat, happy, and warm (old moving blankets & tarps are the best in the winter). Loving the tons of bedding, warm water delivery, and extra food

Never a dull moment with farm animals! Luckily our amazing neighbors down the road finished up the driveway for us while the big kids and I shoveled the animals out and Harry worked. We even did a fun winter project, and use up the markers we had without caps!

Happy Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s, and everything else that’s come and gone. I swear it was just approaching Halloween, like last week. 🥴
We’ve been working on some new products for the farm stand, stay tuned for updates and pictures!

Only a few more weeks left before the stand is closed for the season (last day TBD), so it’s time to start preparing our egg lists! This year we are capping the eggs to 3 dozen per pickup, we want to make sure the list keeps moving in a timely manner.
How it works… We keep a rotating list of customers who would like to pick up fresh, local eggs throughout the colder months. We send you a message when your name is at the top and we’ve started collecting your eggs, along with a rough date they’ll be ready. As soon as we’ve got your eggs we send another message. Let us know a day and time that’s most convenient for you to pick up, we will have them ready! Receive a message from us but not quite ready for more eggs? No problem! Let us know if you’d like to be bumped down a bit on the list, or skipped for the current rotation and added back to the bottom.
If you would like to be added to the lists (chicken and quail), send us a message! We still try our best with requests for one time eggs orders, but they are dependent on our wait times for the list.
All of our products are also available during the off season, bread does require at least a 48 hr notice.
Happy fall, y’all! 🍂
