His passion for working with wood began at the age of 24 when he took a class in wood restoration. Giovanni wanted to learn more about woodcraft.He was offered an apprenticeship with Master Nino Lustrati in Florence, Italy specializing in the restoration and preservation of old hardwood floors in centuries old "palazzi's" as well as application of contemporary installation and finishing techniques. He prides himself on his superb craftsmanship, attention to detail, integrity and dependability.
