There are multiple Monarch butterflies here today. I hope they are simply passing thru. They seem to be hitting up several plants for nectar, especially the Tithonia, Mexican Sunflower. Keep going ladies, it's too cold to raise the next generation here

That first frost probably will come sometime around Halloween l. By which time the Hibscus must be inside, and the marigolds will have met their end, even the little pumpkin hidden down in the left hand lower doesn't like frost. Be prepared!
