This week we installed custom ceiling covering. This is not premade factory flooring or shiplap. Hannah and I cut the strips with my table saw and I custom stained each piece. I wanted it lightweight for ceiling application and wanted it reminiscent of being sun bleached and natural without simply sealing raw wood. The entire preparation process took many hours over a few weeks. The results are worth it.

This week, a laundry room transformed. I love this, so have to show all of you. I ripped down strips of wood on my table saw, then primed and painted them dark gray. We pulled down the old wire shelf, covered the back wall with dark gray strips, installed a new cabinet, shelf, and closet rod, and painted the rest of the walls white.

We returned to the kitchen in which we stripped RTF and painted the cabinets. With heat tools, patience, and perseverance, Hannah and I removed the old tile. Look at the beautiful new tile. I love the pattern in the tile so much, I want to carve a lino block to incorporate into my artwork.

Cabinets are our specialty. Book now and have a fresh kitchen by March.
