Two common questions I always get: do you do decor only, and do you work on apartments? My answer is ❕❕❕Y E S ❕❕❕While I work on houses all day long, I actually live in an apartment myself. I love working in apartments and finding solutions to add character to these dwellings that leave minimal impact when it’s time to move (though sometimes you gotta risk that security deposit for a beautiful wall mounted tv unit like this 😝).

This family had just moved in when they brought me on to help out, and with 3 little ones and distance learning in the mix, they wanted to make their home open, multi-functional and brighten up the space. There is also still put their own super personal touches on their home as their time living there goes on.

Install days and doing decor are such a breath of fresh air when you get into a groove of managing tradesmen, keeping up with shipping amongst this crazy covid supply chain and constant backorders, and staring at specs.

Interior design has taught me SO MUCH about patience and due@process, but man do I love the instant-ish) gratification of install days🦋

Elated to share the newest perk of my design services! Each client now receives a complimentary perspective drawing for their project. These drawings are a great way to relay the design without spending big bucks on 3D renders. The reality is that people typically hire a designer because they have a hard time formulating their visions and executing them. Perspective drawings offer a visual way to relay concepts, and in turn they also act as a communication tool throughout the entirety of the project, especially when there are multiple trades involved. A special thank you to my AMAZING assistant for supporting me through my business boom and providing these amazing drawings for my clients. I am eternally grateful!

I completely second everything said by - both about the relationships between clients, and about this client in specific! Jen and her husband, Gabe, are the perfect example of respecting the process AND the people that are part of that process. Having worked on 3 projects (including putting the decor touches on Jen’s “she shed that she is pictured proudly standing in) balance of leaving it to pros yet voicing wants and needs in respectful ways are truly worth noting!

While I have been lucky enough to work with some pretty amazing clients, I can say that the reality of this biz is that you are subjected to more than just helping design spaces, and may end up in client relationships that don’t reflect how you personally like to treat others . 3 years in the interior design business - I am grateful to finally be in a space where the clientele I attract are only interested in a truly collaborative and respectful dynamic. Do unto others, and it will return to you ten-fold.

CLIENT RAVE 👏 ⠀
As consumers we have so many different outlets to rave (and rant ) on businesses but there isn’t a channel for businesses to rave (and sometimes rant) on clients. Yes, there is such a thing as being a good and not so good client and anyone who owns a business knows exactly what we are talking about. ⠀

We get so much joy out of the TEN year partnership we have had with these very special homeowners. Their authenticity, and kindness blended with boldness in approach has made every renovation a process we were super committed to and have enjoyed from start to finish. Jen .hi.jen and Gabe thank you for trusting us with your home and for giving us the incredible opportunity to transform your space! ⠀

We live by the Golden rule of treating others the way you wish to be treated (Matthew 7:12) and while at times it’s easier said than done our client made it so easy to treat her well, invest in, and eventually become friends with. ⠀
Salud to many years of making and sharing memories in your new space!

It may not be , but I am getting all of the feels envisioning what this space is going to look like when I’m done with it! I’m seeing it already!

For this project, we are going “Wakanda Glam”. I came up with the aesthetic name about a week before left earthside, and so this project means that much more to me and the hero mama I’m working with.

The goal is to be budget savvy without compromising on style - or function. EVERYONE deserves to have well designed spaces that are also functional for their families. She REALLY wanted wall paper and I have heard great things about the wallpaper by one of my favorite designers, so we’re giving it a whirl. They already own sofas like the one pictured, so the goal is to lighten everything up without having to spring for new sofas (seriously, sofas ARE an investment ya’ll!). Looking forward to showing you this living room and the other spaces once complete!

Sharing a very special lewk on this ! Silicone Beach realtor and my dear friend, has entrusted me to guide her unique South-Western style home through an upgrade. The crucial factor is to honor the special lines and finishes of the home while bringing it to a more functional and intentional footprint. She couldn’t have purchased a terra cotta palace by the sea at a more divine moment - Terra Cotta is truly having a moment to shine, and it allows for us to pay homage to the natural and native California tones and finishes, but give it a more refined and polished look. I am always grateful for projects that want to stray from the beaten path and celebrate individuality, and this project will certainly break the mold!

It’s ! And thus, it’s a fitting time to share the preliminary concept for this kitchen design at the home renovation project I am working on. A lot of love has gone into planning this space, and I am excited to share the finished design in the coming weeks. Brass and Statuario Nuovo Gold Quartz with lots of wood accents keep this heart of the home nice and warm, while black stainless steel appliances bring a little edge back to it. Stay tuned because I’m sharing ALL the deets soon!🌞
