SAINT by Ira Dewitt Home and lifestyle brand benefitting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital to support their lifesaving mission: Finding cures. Saving children.®

Ira DeWitt, a music executive with a PhD in education, has always chosen to do things her own way. When a friend was diagnosed with a life-threatening illness, she wanted to give her something more purposeful than flowers or a card-- something that evoked a sense of comfort and spirituality. Ira decided to create something herself, and this is how SAINT Candles – Modern Prayer Candles for a Cause

– was born. The SAINT Candles line features fifteen different candles that are each named after a patron saint associated with a specific aspect of human life. Whether someone is battling a health issue, embarking on a trip, or trying to find love, there is a patron saint – and a SAINT Candle – to help them on their journey. The beautiful packaging, individualized scents, and unique features make this an unforgettable gift that touches peoples’ hearts. Each SAINT Candle comes with a prayer to the patron saint, holy oil as part of the wax (blessed by both a priest and a rabbi), and an Italian prayer coin embedded into the candle honoring the patron saint which reveals itself once the candle has burned down.

As Father’s Day weekend begins, we look to Saint Joseph, Patron Saint of fathers, as an example of quiet strength, faithful leadership, and sacrificial love. May all fathers be inspired by his humility, protection, and unwavering trust in God.

Betrayed by his own brothers and sold into slavery, Joseph’s story is one of suffering, forgiveness, and God’s providence. What others meant for evil, God used for good, turning Joseph’s trials into the salvation of many.

Today we celebrate Saint Anthony of Padua, the beloved Franciscan saint whose powerful preaching, deep wisdom, and extraordinary miracles drew countless people closer to Christ. From monks who helped standardize timekeeping, to priests who shaped musical notation, to Gregor Mendel laying the foundation for modern genetics, Catholic clergy have made lasting contributions to science and discovery. The Church’s history is filled with men who saw faith and reason not as enemies, but as partners in the search for truth.

In the midst of grief and despair, Jesus brought Jairus’ daughter back to life with just a word. This powerful miracle reminds us that even when hope seems gone, Christ still brings life, healing, and restoration.

The Eucharist is not just a symbol. It is the true Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity of Jesus Christ given for the life of the world. At every Mass, heaven touches earth as Christ offers Himself to us in the most intimate way possible.

Today we celebrate the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ, or Corpus Christi Sunday. It is a reminder that Jesus does not remain distant, but gives Himself fully to us in the Eucharist. In every Mass, we are invited to encounter His real presence, receive His love, and be transformed by His grace.
