So many of you have seen me on TV — but always in the design space. This is something different. A new version of reality where you’ll get to see me as Mom.

There’s something humbling about having no control and watching it all unfold with you in real time. Am I nervous? Absolutely. But I trust the team that brought this together, and I love that they found me — in the place that holds my whole heart.

Be yourself. The things that are meant for you will find you. 🤍

I’m healing. I’m noticing. I’m growing. I’m being me. Farming in the morning, dancing at night. Holding onto every moment, every cuddle I can get. The chapters move fast. This I know. And this one is about love. Loving my family. Loving myself. Grateful for the most beautiful friends. For the peace that freedom brings. For the safety I’ve finally accepted. For the help I’ve learned to welcome. Radically keeping my heart open. I’m an open book. Ask me anything. The traumas were buried, but I’m not afraid to talk about them anymore. This is what healing looks like. ✨

TRAVEL WITH YOUR KIDS. 🌍✈️

Was it always easy? No. Was it worth it? Absolutely. My kids have been to 17 countries and don’t you dare say you can’t. It started with one country at a time, me getting on those planes with both boys ALONE, praying I could make it through the flights. But we did. And then it became their normal. And then it became our normal.

If you’re just starting… just do it. Your day at home with a 2½ year old is going to be unbearable anyway, so why not spend it on a flight with them buckled in and someone serving you drinks? 🥂

My #1 pro tip: dress them like little dapper gentlemen. There is something about tiny humans in suits and little loafers that will have everyone going out of their way to help you. Trust me on this one.

Today I am celebrating.

Because I can. Because I made it here. Because this is what healing looks like.

Mother’s Day used to break me. I worked so hard to provide. To show up. To be twice the mom. Mom and dad. Only to be recognized as half. The single mom stigma.

But I kept going. Through the silent holidays. Through the hard seasons nobody saw. Through the moments I broke down quietly and pulled myself back together before anyone noticed.

Because that’s what we do.

So to the single mama reading this in her hard season. The one holding it together with nothing left. Hear me when I say this.

It gets better. So much better.

The sleepless nights. The silent cries. The smile you wear like armor.

It’s all building something in you that can’t be taken away.

Keep going. You got this.

When a place makes you feel alive… you stop running and you stay.

This island didn’t find me. I found my way back to it.

My soul is healing.

My community shows up.

The women are strong.

The men are kind.

The children are free.

Produce trades are a way of life.

The energy is real.

The celebration of life is daily.

This is what it feels like when you stop settling and start living.
