Builder-grade concrete is poured to a spec, not to a design. It does the job and it looks like every other one on the block — until it starts cracking, and then you're patching a slab that never matched anything to begin with.

The deck wasn't broken. It was just painted concrete, and it looked it.

French Pattern Colonial Ivory travertine — four tile sizes in a repeating pattern, which is what gives it depth without ever looking busy. Every piece around the pool and spa cut to follow the curve.

Cooler underfoot than concrete, too, which matters here more than any photo shows.

But watch the whole thing and you'll notice something the before/after can't tell you: the site was clean at the end of every day. That's the half of the job nobody posts about, and it's the half our customers talk about.

The pattern is your choice. The quality of the install is ours.
This homeowner chose a 45-degree herringbone with a soldier course border, and look at it — the field runs at a clean diagonal across the whole drive and the border frames it edge to edge. It's a beautiful pattern.
But a pattern is only as good as the hands laying it. Herringbone punishes shortcuts: every piece meets the border at an angle, so every cut along that edge has to be exact. Get lazy and you see it immediately.
