Throwback Thursday for the Outriders still lurking out there. Blast from the past - Rynn's Might. The Land Raider that survived the destruction of the Crimson Fists Fortress Monastery and went on to fight the Ork invaders for weeks without human guidance. Was finally immobilized and was going to be looted by the Orks. Instead of being defiled, the machine spirit opened the hatches so the warlord and his retinue could enter. Once inside, the machine spirit sealed the doors and overloaded the reactor - killing them. The Orks in fear that it might have more tricks available, buried the land raider. When the Crimson Fists and reinforcements unearthed Rynn's Might, the vehicle was not salvageable. However, the machine spirit lived!. To homor its valient actions, the machine spirit was put into a brand new chassis and returned to service. See White Dwarf for the whole story. This converted Land Raider Prometheus was built for the Outrider "Big Game" table for Games Day 2002 in Baltimore. In two days of play, the vehicle was immobilized several times but never completely destroyed. The legend LIVES!
