A long contract usually feels like a red flag.
In flooring, sometimes the opposite is true.
Every extra paragraph usually exists because somewhere, on some project, something happened that nobody expected.
A door didn’t clear the new floor.
The slab needed more prep than anyone could see beforehand.
The transition between two rooms turned out to be more complicated once the old flooring came up.
After enough years doing this, you stop pretending every project will go exactly according to plan.
You start putting the uncomfortable conversations in writing before the work begins.
Because the best surprise during a flooring project is no surprise at all.
That’s why our contract is long.
And we’re completely okay with that.
