NOW HIRING - Project Architect // Manager

As a Project Architect // Manager, your responsibilities will include:
• Independently coordinate work on a multi-discipline team through multiple phases of a project
• Establish owner/client and internal meetings, and participate in reviews with various governing agencies for code compliance
• Conduct work sessions at project site in conjunction with other disciplines
• Write and edit architectural specifications
• Coordinate with and assist affected disciplines with addenda, RFIs, CPRs and change orders
• Provide construction contract administration as needed

Ideal qualifying experience:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture
• 5+ years of experience
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite, Project Management, and Scheduling software
• Strong knowledge of Florida building codes and local zoning codes

State Street Eating House + Cocktails
Once a bakery in Downtown Sarasota, Florida, only the outer walls, ceiling, and floor remained after HOYT Architects completely redesigned this interior space. By polishing the existing concrete floors and exposing the unique ceiling structure, the restaurant achieved a naturally rustic and warm ambiance rarely seen in Sarasota. In under 1,800 SF, designers were able to incorporate a full working kitchen, bar, seating area for 50, a private dining room, and a glass wine cellar.
