One of our latest custom projects — and definitely one of the most involved.
This full pirate ship bed was built specifically for this room. The curved hull, bow, upper deck, railings, ladder, wall paneling, columns, trim work, and custom-shaped pieces were all fabricated from scratch, then stained, finished, transported, and installed on site.
There was a lot of problem-solving that went into this build. The curves, proportions, transitions, and individual sections all had to come together cleanly while still fitting the room exactly. That meant plenty of templating, test fitting, shaping, sanding, adjusting, and detail work along the way.
Once the main structure was complete, we finished it out with the captain’s wheel, portholes, lighting, and elevated deck across the back wall to bring the whole design together.
It was a challenging project, but seeing the finished room made it well worth it. This is the kind of custom work we enjoy most — taking a unique idea and figuring out how to build it from the ground up.
