Repotting and organizing some plants to bring Sunday for the last market of the season at Salt Your Soul Gift Co. !! These are just a few of the plants we will have with us that day! Unfortunately all of the plants i have been putting into our prop system aren’t quite ready yet BUT they will be soon and we will soon announce our first home sale of the year!! 🪴🙏🏼🌤️

A little walk through of the garden currently. Yesterday I removed the second clump of bamboo that needed to be taken out. We have to work on the stumps still. It is still very crunchy and sad. With that being said, we are still not sure of when we will open the garden and do another home sale- we are hoping for mid May, so the date will be announced later. I’m working had to trim, plant, mulch, and make it all beautiful again so that I am proud to show it off! I can’t wait for it to be lush again!🥰

Working hard over here to bring the garden back to life for summer 🌤️ between the frost and lack of rain it is quite crunchy. Wednesday’s project was taking down this clump of bamboo. This specific clump we believe had a virus that led to its end. We gave it a full growing season but it was still not coming back so unfortunately we are removing it. This was one of the very first bamboos we ever planted in our yard back in February 2020. We had once nicknamed it “amazing bamboo” due to its fast growth and for how many culms it would shoot at once. It’s really sad having lost it but we are also excited to replace it and plant another species in its place. Gardens are forever changing and a continuous work of art. The last photo is a couple of years ago in the fall when it was very green and lush. Can’t wait for our usual rainfalls to get back to that ⛈️

Getting ready for the last Plant Swap and Market of the year!! Spent today gathering a lot of goodies to leave at the Swap Table, and pulled all the plants we are bringing to our booth! This time I will have a big mix, a lot of my nicer Philodendrons but also a whole table of “cheap stuff” aka I’d like it to go away!! Come on out Sunday to Salt Your Soul from 11-3 and get some new plants, plant gifts, etc!! Can’t wait! Last one until Spring!!! 😄😍

Okay next Sunday December 14th will be the last Plant Swap and Indie Market of the season at Salt Your Soul Gift Co. !! I am cleaning out the shadehouses this week and am going to be bringing lots of little plants for the swap table!!! Maybe even some discounted plants at our booth!!
