Check out this beautiful Vernacular-style bronze doorknob. 🤩

This vintage gem captures the essence of the Victorian era's ornate residential hardware. Throughout Saratoga's historic homes, you'll find that the doorknobs from this period come in unique shapes, with filigree, scalloping, etchings, and even hand-painted scenes.

Did a little digging and found this very doorknob in Sargent & Co.'s 1887 catalog—it's a testament to the enduring allure of the Victorian craftsmanship we love!

Knoxville Gray has to be one of my favorite colors. Saturated in green undertones, it’s by no means a true gray. Part of Benjamin Moore’s Historical Collection, this amorphous hue reads blue in morning light, grayish in full sun and green at night. For a little boy who couldn't decide if his favorite color was green or blue, Knoxville Gray was a perfect choice.

Benjamin Moore has named "Metropolitan," a cool gray, as its 2019 Color of the Year, and we have to say that we are here for it!

After 2018's fiery red "Caliente" selection, their 2019 color trends have shifted to a more timeless palette, ranging in hues from neutrals to bold blues and greens.

I think what's so appealing about the outside of this house is the stark white trim (an Andersen Windows + Doors color match) contrasted by the dark grey siding (Benjamin Moore "Secret").

The inside is a mixture of subtle gray and other neutral tones, and pops of color can be found in the home's (awesome) original features.
