Good morning and Happy Friday! 💜🌻🐝🌶🦋
Tomorrow is the New Moon in Ta**us.
Time to plant seeds!
I think I may plant more lettuce seeds inside to attract that green stuff we like to make and spend.💸💰 😉
I pruned off the dead flowers and damaged leaves off of my Mexican Sunflower today and cut a nice harvest off of my Sage plant. Later after the sun goes down I'm going to fertilize everything with the liquid fertilizer to give things a boost. Liquid can be used immediately compared to granular fertilizer that needs to break down.
I hope you are having a great garden year if you have one. Remember, you can grow plants inside too with a small space and a daylight shop light. I've done that for years. There's nothing like growing lettuce right in your kitchen for fresh salads.

Good morning and Happy Monday!💜🌞🌻
I'm so happy that all my seeds have germinated. I'm looking forward to starting more tomatoes after the loss of 4 plants to spider mites.
I'm trying to grow Black Strawberry tomatoes again. They didn't do well in North Carolina so let's see how they do here in New Orleans. I have more Principe Borghese and Barry's Crazy Cherry tomatoes started too. I have a better plan than before for trellising so hopefully the plants stay healthy this time.
I also have my replacement cucumber plants started. I started some for my friend because it's great to share plants with someone new to growing veggies.

Today's Catnip harvest.
Three bundles hanging to dry now. I use Catnip in my infused oils and other Magickal work so it's not just for my cats.
I think I'll be growing some other herbs soon too.

I forgot to share my harvested Catnip I cut this morning. I've got two 6 inch pots growing in my kitchen under grow lights. They are flowering already and the flowers are so pretty. I got a nice amount cut and hung them to dry instead of getting out my dehydrator this time.
My cats prefer dried over fresh and it makes a nice cup of tea too..

I've also got a few cuttings rooting in water to have new plants continually.

Good Morning and Happy Sunday!💜🌞🌻
After the pruning of the tomato plants (due to storm damage and spider mites)and the rain I took some after photos. I can't spray the neem oil on anything until it dries off. The pruning was harsh. I know the tomatoes will get fuller again but I plan to keep up on them. I took the Black Cherry tomato out completely since it was too diseased. I did manage to find a healthy clone from the plant so that is rooting in water now. I actually took clones from all the plants in case I can't save the plants that have spider mites. I picked 2 Black Cherry tomatoes that were turning purple. So it gave me something.

Good morning! Happy Saturday! 💜🌻
I just watered my container urban garden jungle. I picked another cucumber and a few Principe Borghese tomatoes from the overwintered plant. I'm picking as soon as I see blushing so I can pull out this plant as soon as possible.
I have so many little cucumbers, tomatoes and peppers. I can hardly wait to have a consistent harvest. I only found 1 caterpillar today and he has been removed. It was a Buckmoth caterpillar that is a nasty little thing to contend with. Our neighborhood is covered with them.

I had to do a photo shoot for my adorable garden helper. This was such a pretty anole lizard. We had a nice chat and they decided to just do a little sunbathing. I hope they filled up on insects too. I took a few other photos while I was out there since I have an obsession with my garden this year.

Good Morning and Happy Tuesday!💜🌻
I picked my first Green Light cucumber and had to pick 2 more Corbachi peppers due to caterpillar damage on their ends. No worries though. I will enjoy my harvest for lunch today.
I didn't find any caterpillars today on any plants so far. It was in the 50s overnight so between the temperature and the Cayenne pepper I sprinkled it may have stopped them. Crossing my fingers.
I also got to see my second 4 o'clock flower open this morning. Such a blessing!🌻

Good morning and Happy Monday! It's a chilly day again today here in New Orleans. We are in the 60s after last week's 80°. We've had a lot of rain in the past couple days and the caterpillars have taken advantage of it. Looks like a bite taken out of my biggest Corbachi pepper and I caught at least one of the culprits. I found the brown/orange fuzzy ones on my cucumbers today and now this yellow one on my Corbachi pepper plant where they blend in to the yellow peppers.. I found through research that Cayenne pepper will deter caterpillars so I sprinkled my plants and ordered more Cayenne since I ran out.
The 2 Principe Borghese tomato plants look much better today and the Black Cherry isn't as bad as yesterday after getting knocked down during the rainstorms.
