Tidewater Pool Repair is a locally owned small business that focuses on pool maintenance and repair, serving the beautiful coastal areas of Savannah and Tybee Island. We’re looking for a motivated and independent individual to join us as a Pool Service Technician.
What’s so great about this position?
Work Independently: As a Pool Service Technician, you’ll be working independently mostly on your own. A perfect fit for an analytical but introverted employee.
Outdoor Work: Are you an outdoors and nature lover? Then this is the job for you! We do work on properties near the beach in beautiful Tybee Island and along the marshland of several coastal barrier islands.
Company Truck: We provide you with a company truck to get to and from pool locations. All company truck drive time is on the clock and paid for!
Autonomy with Flexibility: Set your own pace and work schedule. As long as the work is completed on time, you’ll have the flexibility to manage your day as you see fit.
Listen to What You Want: Whether it’s your favorite podcast, an audiobook, or just some good music, you’ll have the freedom to listen to whatever motivates you while on the job.
No experience required! (We’ll train you!)
Job Responsibilities:
Perform regular maintenance on residential and commercial pools, ensuring they are clean, safe, and properly functioning.
Test and balance pool chemicals, clean filters, vacuum pool bottom, skim pool surface, and ensure all pool equipment is running smoothly.
Maintain standard customer service when interacting with clients and pool owners.
Transport and use pool maintenance equipment safely and efficiently.
Report any pool repairs or potential issues to manager
What We’re Looking For:
A passion for working outdoors and an eye for detail.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Ability to drive between job sites, including to Tybee Island and other surrounding areas.
Previous experience in pool maintenance or related fields is a plus, but willing to train.
Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
