This past Friday a group of past and present memebers of the Savannah Design Collaborative were able to catch up at the AIA Georgia Christopher Kelley Leadership Development Program graduation. Congratulation Michael Coulter from Milling Land Design and Sophia Rodriguez from Architecture 101 on graduating with this year’s class! It was also great to have Akhil Hemanth, previously with Architecture 101 and Adam Drummond current Partner at Architecture 101 / Advisor for the 2025 cohort representing. Altogether the SDC is proud to have had 6 members graduate from the program over the years. Keep it up everyone. We can’t wait to see what else you accomplish!

🎉 Exciting News from Architecture 101! 🎉

We are thrilled to announce that our very own Sophia Rodriguez has just completed the IPAL program at SCAD! She is now a Registered Architect in the state of Georgia! 🌟 Not only did she achieve this impressive milestone, but she was also the only student from her graduating class to do so—a truly remarkable accomplishment!

Sophia worked with us part-time as a student and transitioned into a full-time position in our Savannah office as one of our Project Managers. Her positivity, dedication, and collaborative spirit make her an incredible asset to our team, and we couldn’t be happier to have her on board.

Next time you see Sophia around town, make sure to give her a high-five and congratulate her on this achievement. She’s excited to help you with your next project and continue making a positive impact on the architecture community of Savannah.

We are excited to welcome Jeni Torres to the Architecture 101 team! Jeni is an architecture student at Savannah College of Art and Design, where she is in her fourth year of their IPAL (Integrated Path to Architectural Licensure) program.

Jeni is drawn to architecture based on the user experience and how good design can impact people's daily lives. She enjoys celebrating small details that are often overlooked and can have an unspoken impact on daily life.

If you see Jeni around our office at the Savannah Design Collaborative, say hi! While you're at it, ask her about her favorite book and let her know where she can find the best BBQ in town!
