Hmm... I guess other contractors saw the same thing I already knew. Since I spend a lot of time making sure the correct products are applied and refuse to use a customer selected paint. Master Painters know paints. Do yourself a favor, find the master painter and let them create the master piece! 😁

Sherman Williams Emerald Flashing Problem, what are we doing wrong?

In the middle of a new house build, and we are having problems with Sherman Williams Emerald Matte paint flashing. Here is what we are doing: Level 5 Drywall Drywall sealed with a primer of Guardz (although issue happened in rooms without guardz as well). Rolled 1 coat of primer Benjamin Moore Fresh Start Primer. Sprayed 2 coats of Sherman Williams Emerald Matte, color is Cheviot. Sprayed. As you can see in the photos, the finished product is giving a lot of flashing. We tried a 3rd or even 4th coat in places and it still flashes (the picture above is 3rd coat). Painter can't figure out whats going on. Any ideas on how to fix this flashing? He did use a space heater to help speed up drying as he was having problems with paint lift when taping for ceiling, wondering if that's making it worse?
