We will be closed tomorrow in solidarity with the National General Strike. No work, no school, no shopping. F*CK 🧊.

In solidarity with the National General Strike planned for Friday, January 30, Cast & Grey Botanical will be closed for the day, both in-store and online.
Weather permitting, we will be back to normal on Saturday, January 31 but I’m not naîve enough to think this one action will be the last time business has to be interrupted in protest of what’s going on with our country. Resisting fascism is a long, uphill battle.
I am encouraged by so many of you who have shared in conversation and online about how you’re feeling with each new headline and event. Thank you for being compassionate people.
If you would like to join me in protest, here are some action items:
Call your state senators: Jon Ossoff (202-224-3521) and Raphael Warnock (202-224-3643)
Find your local immigration advocacy groups and donate/volunteer/phone bank/canvass/ask how to help
Contribute to a local mutual aid wish list
Donate to local immigrant bond funds
Have a conversation with your neighbors about creating a hyperlocal support network
Lastly, if you feel like I’m being silly or alarmist, it’s only going to get more annoying from here. Sorry, not sorry.
