Let’s hear your houseplant hill you’ll die on:

🪴 Common plants can be just as exciting as rare ones.
🪴 Not every plant needs a moss pole.
🪴 A healthy plant is better than a trendy plant.

Mine?

🐞 Beneficial insects are one of the most underutilized tools in houseplant care.

In fact, we’ve recently started incorporating beneficial nematodes into our own pest prevention routine as an extra layer of protection against fungus gnats, thrips, and other soil-dwelling pests. 🌱

🌿 Spent today at the BOCES Agricultural Science building in Binghamton hosting a fun plant bingo + plant education experience with students!

We talked plant care and propagation. 🌱 It was really cool seeing how engaged and curious everyone was throughout the sessions.

I’m also grateful to be part of the advisory committee for the program and love getting to support opportunities that connect students with horticulture and agriculture in hands-on ways 🪴💚

There are some seriously beautiful cuts available from this plant — lots of high variegation, sectoral marbling, minty splashing, and even a few dramatic half moons 👀

These are fresh cuts and will be sold first come, first served.

Mine is definitely chopping my Monstera albos 😭

I have several mother plants that are able to be propped but I keep putting it off… and now I’m completely out of fresh cuts and starters 😂

Repotting?
Moss poles?
