Art & Design Tour in Mexico City.
So much to explore and admire — from Frida Kahlo’s vibrant Casa Azul to an after-hours visit at the National Anthropology Museum. Casa Girardi, the last house designed by Luis Barragán, the famed architect, was a beautiful study in color and architectural precision. Zona Maco, the annual art show, was lively and inspiring, Museo Jumex impressed with Gabriel de la Mora’s precision and use of materials, and Xinú, a boutique perfume store, was a true sensory experience. Can’t beat the restaurants, old world architecture and energy of this city. The color was a true reset in the middle of winter.
