Shoutout to my buddies Bill and Alison, out of Dyer, for reaching out to see if I could build them a custom, removable ramp for their shed. 🙏

Alison and Bill reached out to see if I could build them a ramp for their push mower/shed, because they didn't expect their new, beautiful, Yoder shed to be delivered with such a tall base/frame attached. I looked at the shed for a minute, told Alison my idea and she said, "Like a U-haul?" - Me "Yup, exactly!" 🤣

So here it is... a 30x48 ramp with 2 cast iron straight-castors, routed 1/2 inch into the frame for clearance, 2 handles at the end to pull it out and 2 more on the opposite sides to latch it on with heavy duty, stainless steel eye hooks, topped with a sleek, black fence/deck stain. Turned out pretty cool! 🤙

Other companies told her the deck needed to be completely rebuilt for "the cost of a new roof" (her words, not mine lol) but I was able to salvage and repair the frame so we were able to add new deck boards for a fraction of a new roof. 🤣

Again thank you for trusting us with your deck and you were an absolute peach to work for! 🫶

Apparently, the gentleman who built this years ago decided not to mount it to anything, not the concrete steps or the house. I literally pulled the whole porch off with my bare hands, no tools required. The only sturdy part were the top boards that Steve replaced several years back. This thing was in desperate need of finding a dumpster. 🗑

Anyways, the rebuild went as smooth as anyone could ask for and I can rest knowing they have a safe porch to walk on! 🫶

You folks were amazing people to work with and I can't wait for the next project! Thank you again!

HUGE HUGE HUGE Thank you to Patti, out of St. John, for having me back over and trusting me with probably my most favorite project as of yet!

After seeing a previous job where I "refurbished" a similar screened porch with cedar, she asked if I'd be willing to build her one from scratch and I obviously obliged with the quickness. We decided to go cedar all around, from the studs to the trim, and use an extra durable "pet-screen" to make sure this beauty will last for years to come and be a perfect hangout spot for her adorable kitten.

To top it off, My buddy Chris (The generator/electrician guy from a previous post) came over and helped with installing new plug-in cameras, getting rid of her old pesky battery operated ones. Because you know we need this gorgeous screened-in cedar porch on full security at all times! Lol.

Again, thank you very much Patti! You are the best! 🙏
