We recently had a customer contact us because their exterior outlets were not working, even though the circuit breaker had not tripped.

Upon arrival, we traced the wiring to determine which receptacles were connected to the circuit. After inspecting the receptacles, we found that the neutral wire was not properly connected at one of the front porch outlets. We reconnected the neutral wire, verified that everything was wired correctly, and restored power at the breaker. The exterior outlets were then working properly.

While we were there, we also diagnosed an issue with the customer’s dishwasher not draining. We discovered that the previous company that installed the garbage disposal had not removed the dishwasher drain plug from the disposal. Once identified, we were able to explain the cause of the drainage issue to the customer.

Another successful troubleshooting and repair completed by Kajun’s Handyman Services LLC. We take pride in finding the source of the problem and making sure the job is done correctly.

Another tub re-caulking project completed for a satisfied customer! We removed the old, deteriorated caulking and applied fresh, clean caulking around the tub for a professional, finished look.

A new customer contacted Kajun’s Handyman Services LLC because their gas stove was not receiving power. After arriving on-site, we thoroughly troubleshot the appliance and electrical connections to identify the issue.

We discovered that a power wire near the main control board had become loose, preventing the stove from receiving power properly. After correcting the connection, the stove was restored to proper operation.

An existing customer contacted Kajun’s Handyman Services LLC after another company installed a new garbage disposal in his rental property. Shortly afterward, he began experiencing problems with the dishwasher not draining, along with electrical issues involving the exterior outlets.

After inspecting the plumbing, we discovered that the knockout plug (cap) had been left in the garbage disposal, preventing the dishwasher from draining properly.

We also inspected the electrical circuit and found that the neutral wire had not been properly connected at the first outlet on the circuit, which was preventing power from reaching the remaining outlets. After properly connecting the neutral wire and resetting the breaker, all of the exterior outlets were operating properly.
