The Durango Campus for Flood Control District of Maricopa County project was led by our amazing friends over at ! One of the cool things about this project was assisting with the design of 3 10,000 gallon underground cisterns and one 1,000 gallon above ground cistern to capture rainwater off the roofs of the admin building and the shade structures which then is used for irrigation on our site! The great thing about rainwater is that it's chalk full of nitrogen and does not have the high salinity levels our potable water has. Although it's no , it's at least a close 2nd to what plants crave!
