☀️⛅️Todays job… it was a beautiful day to be at the lake on a quiet dead end street. The chips were plentiful and long with this large fresh cut pine stump. 🌲

The amount of utter destruction a tree can do. So many lives have been turned upside down due to damaged homes. It has been so sad to witness first hand and hear that persons story, one after another, day in and day out. My prayers have been for them and everyone assisting in cleanup… 🥺🙌🏡💨

💨🍃Recent high winds resulted in an emergency for this homeowner on the lake. They got lucky, the size of this tree could have split the garage in two! We got it all taken care of for them… without further incident! Even got other local businesses some work to repair asphalt and gutters… Now that’s a win/win!! 🙌

Another day in Harston Estates area at Barren River Lake… I am thankful for just a little flat ground today as I am standing in a drizzle rain and retreating to the truck when it downpours! 6 wheel drive machine comes in handy in situations like this and I didn’t leave a single rut in their yard!

A very large Red Oak cut down by dad, J & J Tree Doctors. My rake is 2 foot wide and looks tiny in comparison. A massive amount of pretty red stump chips were removed and cleanup complete. Someone claimed the firewood and logs so it was all left on site... I hope they have a good saw and a strong arm to get that log split up! Someone’s eyes were bigger than their ability, I am afraid! 😳😱

Oh the adventures we go on, my boy and me!! I’m thankful to have a way to make a living and be mom at the same time. We sure do like getting to visit different neighborhoods but the lake area is always a fun day!

This stump was a very large area with a lots of rocks… Turns out, it was Dr. Halcomb’s collection of massive geodes on top of a stone walkway that he had cemented in the ground from 1947! It had sunk a foot into the dirt and tree roots grew around each stepping stone! Dr. Halcomb’s daughter was astonished that the stones were still there! Another job done for the City of Scottsville, Mayor Burch is awesome to work for! Guarantee I won’t forget this one anytime soon… 🌳🌞😎
