The Tree for Every Delawarean Initiative (TEDI) is part of Delaware’s comprehensive plan to respond to climate change. Planting and nurturing trees is a nature-based solution to reducing greenhouse gases that drive climate change. Trees and forests reduce carbon in the atmosphere by absorbing carbon dioxide from the air and storing it in the tree. TEDI provides an opportunity to work together to accelerate and expand tree plantings in Delaware.

The goal: Plant at least one tree for every Delawarean.

Please be aware of local and not so local "companies" that are scamming homeowners in Sussex County and throughout the state for various contractor services. Our company has recently been contacted by local homeowners who have been scammed for tree care related services. One homeowner paid $20,000 for tree work to be completed only for the "contractor" to take the money and RUN. Do not pay for services up front without knowing the company you are dealing with. See the information on the back of our recent Money Mailer ad (seen above) for more information about the Contractor Registry list for contractors in the State of Delaware that is REQUIRED for all contractors by law. Our company does not require payment prior to completing the work, so be sure to ask for proof of insurance and proof of Contractor Registry BEFORE agreeing to have work done at your home.
