Walnut cabinet build, Part 2 🪵
The cabinet boxes are assembled, now it's time for the face frames.
Today we're milling rough walnut, cutting parts to size, and building the face frames that will bring these custom bathroom vanities to life. It's always satisfying watching a stack of lumber start to look like a finished piece.
Stay tuned as this project continues to come together.

Walnut cabinet build, Part 1. 🪵

Starting with a pile of parts and turning them into a cabinet box. Sanding, drilling, assembly, and a little sawdust along the way.

Tomorrow we'll start milling the walnut for the face frames and bring this project one step closer to completion.

30 Years of Delmarva Millwork, Inc.

In 1996, Delmarva Millwork opened its doors with a simple goal: build quality work, treat people right, and stand behind everything we create.

Thirty years later, we've had the privilege of helping homeowners, builders, businesses, churches, and families throughout Delmarva bring their ideas to life.

From custom kitchens and bathrooms to mantels, bars, cabinetry, furniture, trim work, staircases, commercial projects, CNC creations, and one of a kind pieces, every project has been an opportunity to do what we love, creating something built to last.

Over the last three decades, we've watched trends come and go, but one thing has never changed: quality craftsmanship matters.
What started as a small family business has grown through hard work, word of mouth, and the trust of customers who continue to choose us year after year. For that, we are incredibly grateful.

As we celebrate 30 years in business, we'd like to thank every customer, contractor, employee, friend, and family member who has supported us along the way. None of this would have been possible without you.

Here's to 30 years of craftsmanship, custom work, and serving the Delmarva community.

And we're just getting started.

Those black spots aren’t fly droppings. Around Delmarva, this time of year means power washing, fresh mulch, and getting homes ready for spring—but many homeowners don’t realize what may actually be causing those stubborn specks on siding, railings, and trim.

It’s often Artillery Fungus—a fungus that grows in mulch and launches sticky spores that can cling to surfaces as high as 15 feet up. They’re tough to remove, and in many cases require hand scrubbing even after power washing.

A recent project led to a smart long-term solution: removing the mulch and replacing it with decorative stone. Cleaner look, lower maintenance, and no more mystery spots.

Spring projects are in full swing across Delmarva.

This bathroom was completely reimagined to feel brighter, more spacious, and more refined.

The original shower was replaced with a floor to ceiling tiled, walk in shower, featuring selections from Garden State Tile. The Vibes Collection walls bring depth and movement, the Halo Collection adds texture at the quartz niche and custom rear storage feature behind the toilet, and the Serene mosaic floor adds a soft, elegant finish underfoot.

Natural light was enhanced with a new Marvin, double hung window with frosted glass for privacy.

Smart thermostat controlled heated Pergo flooring adds everyday comfort and a subtle touch of luxury.

The custom vanity, finished in Extra White, was built at kitchen height for a furniture style presence and everyday comfort. Shaker styling, six drawers, two doors, soft close hardware, and a quartz top with undermount sink create a timeless focal point. Above, a Robern Sculpt mirror provides beautiful, balanced light.

One of the smartest layout changes was reworking the toilet wall by pulling the fixture forward to create custom built in storage behind it, illuminated counter space, added cabinetry, and a seamless quartz surface finished with coordinating tile detail.

Clean lines, layered materials, purposeful storage, and lasting craftsmanship. Proof that even a modest space can become something exceptional.

A seamless extension of the kitchen, designed with the elegance of custom furniture and the function of a luxury built-in bar.

Fabricated, finished, and installed by our team, this custom cabinetry in a soft cream finish features inset doors, polished brass hardware, and tailored detailing that gives the entire space a timeless architectural presence. Behind the glass doors, white oak interiors bring warmth, depth, and a curated contrast.

A polished quartz countertop, luminous tile backsplash, integrated under counter wine storage, and discreet under-cabinet lighting complete the composition—each detail selected to feel elevated, intentional, and enduring.

Designed for entertaining, styled for everyday living, and built to quietly elevate the entire kitchen.

What began as an unexpected leak became an opportunity to transform this bathroom into a refined, highly functional coastal bathroom retreat.

The original fiberglass tub/shower, standard vanity, mirror, and vinyl flooring were removed to make way for a more intentional design.

At the center of the space is a custom built, extra deep, kitchen height vanity finished in Sherwin Williams Extra White, offering both presence and practicality with two extra deep drawers and a single door, all with soft close hardware. The mirror wall was thoughtfully built out to create the illusion of a standard-depth sink layout, allowing the room to feel balanced and proportioned. A slim framed Robern Sculpt mirror, quartz countertop, and undermount sink complete the composition with understated elegance.

The bathing area was reimagined with a new tub and a full tile surround in vertically stacked water hued tile, paired with Moonbeam grout for a soft, tonal contrast. The shower niche was detailed in the same quartz used for the vanity top, creating a cohesive thread of material continuity throughout the room. Underfoot, smart thermostat controlled, heated Pergo LVT floor brings a quiet layer of luxury to the daily routine.

Lighting was equally considered, with additional recessed ceiling lights repositioned where they naturally belong, now set on a dimmer for flexibility from bright morning routines to softer evening ambiance.

The walls in Sherwin-Williams Rock Candy with crisp Extra White trim, the palette keeps the room bright, airy, and timeless.

Proof that even the most compact spaces can feel elevated when every detail is considered.

From weathered to reborn.

This barn had good bones and a solid roof, but time had taken its toll. We restored the entire shell—leveling the structure, reframing where needed, replacing rotten boards, adding new sheathing, and giving it a fresh coat of red.

The original cypress siding and oak barn beams were carefully saved and will live on in future projects inside the barn.

Still a work in progress, but this before & after already shows quite a story.

Primary Bathroom Remodel | Before & After

This space began with a leaking tile shower and a vaulted ceiling that made the room feel colder and less grounded than it needed to be. The goal was to rebuild it correctly and refine the space with better materials, better proportions, and long-term durability in mind.

The remodel included:
• Vaulted ceiling lowered to a flat ceiling for a warmer, cleaner look
• Rebuilt shower with new waterproofing and a frameless glass enclosure
• Heated white marble flooring
• Custom inset cabinetry with large dovetail drawers
• Tall his-and-hers storage cabinets
• White quartz vanity tops with mitered front edges for a thicker profile
• Soft brass fixtures throughout

The result is calm, functional, and intentionally detailed—nothing flashy, just well considered.

Bathroom Remodel | Before & After

Goodbye fiberglass, hello tile. This bathroom got a full refresh, starting with the removal of the old tub surround and replacing it with a new tub and tile carried all the way to the ceiling.

A few of the upgrades:
• New hex tile flooring for subtle pattern and texture
• New vanity and updated lighting, replacing the single bar light with individual sconces
• New toilet
• Flat-panel shaker-style solid core doors, a big upgrade from the original 6-panel doors and noticeably quieter

Small space, big difference. Clean lines, better materials, and details that make the room feel finished.
